Employment Opportunity
Our law firm has an opening for a full-time position for an Administrative Assistant/Legal Secretary. The position will consist primarily of Real Estate matters. The duties of this position include:
Preparation of legal documents including, reports, invoices, affidavits, land titles and court applications
Organize and maintain client files
Take messages from clients and schedule appointments
Perform data entry for client database and accounting system
Respond to phone enquiries, messages and emails
Maintain records and confidential files electronically and manually
Review documents for completeness and accuracy
Make photocopies of correspondence, documents, and other printed matter
Organize envelopes, postage and mail for clients
Perform other related office duties as assigned
The successful applicant will have experience with Microsoft Office programs, excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, be detail oriented and efficient at multi-tasking. The ability to maintain client confidentiality is essential.
